Mythology – TurboWitch

TurboWitch

The Legend of TurboWitch

Since the beginning of time… long before humankind ever walked the face of the earth, magnificent powers have always been at play. The forces of nature, connected and guided by energies that to this day we cannot fully explain. But we can witness their power.

Magic. Witchcraft. Those are mere attempts at giving a name to that which cannot be named, for it is too vast to be ever grasped by the human mind. But there are beings commanding these forces. And sometimes we are lucky enough to be chosen by them, to walk part of our paths with their guidance, in their presence.

A wizard, given many names, woven into stories, too many to keep count; a poet, shaping life itself through his tales.
A witch, her appearance bringing forth death and demise; a shapeshifting queen of war and fate.

His true name might be forgotten. But he has been known by many names in all the lifetimes he’s spent hidden amongst humankind.

Her spirit, if powerful, is fragile. She cannot linger in one body, one life, one shape for too long. So she travels through us. She might take hold of you, even, as she pleases.

His power has aged and evolved with him. He no longer needs words to weave his tales and cast his spells.

Her power exceeds the normal. So she treads carefully. Never taking one form for very long. Only taking hold of one body, when the power she wishes to command is summoned by the husk itself.

Believed dead, forever imprisoned in a tower, a forest, a lake… his gift to foretell the future, to see the truth, lay dormant, while he refined his craft, perfected his magic… just waiting for the right time to unleash what was kept asleep.

She yearns for purpose. Trapped in a fateful task, yet blessed with the power of transformation, she wishes to be called upon. To unleash all the forces she commands. To transform beyond her own borders.

They called him Merlin. But he lives as Mark in this time, this century. But that is just a shell. Underneath that the timeless wizard is awake. Aware. More powerful than ever.

Through the body of Marei, Morrigan seizes a voice to command her powers and unleash them onto those, who listen.

In search of a muse, in search of one to give magic a new form, Merlin found Morrigan.
In search of a purpose, to shift her powers from death to life. To bring transformation forth beyond her own experience… Morrigan and Merlin transformed magic itself. Commanding emotions. Becoming someone else entirely. Being taken to other worlds, other lives, other experiences. Commanding the one force that exists without a space.

Who says a wand can’t have strings?
Who says a chant cannot be guided by a melody?
Who says a magic ritual cannot be performed on a stage?

If you could be someone else, something else for just a few minutes? What would you choose? If you could feel a certain way at will, how would you make yourself feel? If you, too, could command ancient powers, which ones would you choose?
Would you use your powers for death or for life or to keep the balance between the two?

Would you rather be the ageless almighty wizard or be possessed by the shapeshifting goddess of fate? If everything was possible, what fate would you choose?

Are you ready to witness the power of transformation?
